in my head : erase / rewind - the cardigans

the decision was to go somewhere further away to have dinner because the folks had use of the car post-road trip . the timing couldn't be more perfect because i had just read in the papers ( that i nicked the morning before ) that there was a sri lankan restaurant that had been reviewed that was pretty good . it was a sign when rehan mentioned that it was sri lanka's national day . so we bundled up into the car looking forward to curries and hoppas .

verdict : sri lankan cuisine is very much like what you'd expect . it tastes similar to indian food but the flavours so much more delicate and wrecks less havoc on your insides post-meal . sam surprise ordered some drink with woodapples and it taasted just all wrong . we attempted to send it back thinking that the diary they used had gone bad but apparently , it's just supposed to taste like that .
