i'll love you if the p r i c e is right .

in my head : i lust you - neon neon

it's monday . i didn't go to school because i didn't feel like it . i wanted to sew but there was nothing that needed stitching . i wanted to go to work but no one will hire me . i wanted to start on my essay but the inspiration will not come .

instead i spent the entire morning reading my favourite fashion blogs and wishing i had the financial stability / innate style / cult following that all of them have . alas , i have none .

on sunday i stepped onto camberwell grounds with furtive steps and slight hesitation because i was alone . shopping at flea markets alone can go one of two ways - you think everything is really cheap and get sucked into the delusion that the " loud printed 80's mini was really cute , even though you probably wouldn't wear it often it's only $5 so i'll just grab it " and 10 of those cute minis and big shirts later , you've spent $ 60 on useless items ; OR you are clear headed and focused and you score a great deal of bargains . needless to say i'm usually the former . here are some of the things i picked up last sunday . you tell me if i wasted my money or i scored because all the below cost me $14 in total .

i just had to talk about my outfit because it's not often i do daring fashion leaps of faith . i was channelling a little carrie bradshaw from SATC ( i couldn't find the outfit that i so vividly remember that was responsible for this outfit , sorry ! ) and i don't know if it was a roaring success but i did get a lot of stares . i can't take credit for the stares though , jeremy scott was probably responsible .
