is it just me , or does paypal really suck . they've got the most inflexible policy and staff that are very good at pissing me off but not actually assisting me . can someone please explain to me how it is my fault if the buyer chooses the cheaper option of regular mail ( which is their choice because they bear the cost ) and somehow i have to produce EVIDENCE IN THE FORM OF A TRACKING CODE ( which obviously i DON'T HAVE BECAUSE THE BUYER CHOSE REGULAR MAIL ) because paypal chooses to investigate a perfectly legitimate sale because the buyer has too much activity on their account . see , my policy is if you pay before 12 pm the next day after the auction closes , i mail it out the next day . it's worked perfectly for me and i've never had any issues UNTIL NOW . i get that paypal needs to investigate suspicious activity , but they've since cleared the buyer's account but the transaction is still FROZEN BECAUSE I HAVE FAILED TO PROVIDE INSUFFICIENT PROOF ?!?!?! i went as far as to provide the receipt showing that i've indeed mailed the item to philippines but APPARENTLY THAT IS NOT ENOUGH BECAUSE THEY NEED A TRACKING NUMBER . i'm so angry i want to kill somebody .
lucky for me , the buyer is/was nice enough to offer other payment alternatives should paypal choose to reverse the transaction . i'm really hoping she doesn't suddenly fall off the face of the earth should the situation really call for alternative payment .
does anybody else have issues with paypal's inflexibility ?
