in my head : falling slowly - the frames

i have declared falling slowly by glen hansard (of the frames) the ultimate l o v e song of all time and my FAVOURITE . it's got that haunting melody and glen's melancholic voice singing those poetic words " i don't know you , but i want you . . . " . in a live performance , glen said that the song was about attending a party with your girlfriend and she goes to the bathroom and you're left sitting alone . you're looking across the room and suddenly you see this girl you're really attracted to , and it's not mental , it's physical ; and suddenly you realise it's your girlfriend and " cha-ching " ! you're taking her home tonight . i think that's the ultimate right ? when your boy still checks you out like you were someone else and is still as attracted to you as the first time you guys met . YOU CANNOT MAKE ME NOT LOVE THIS SONG . : )

there was the grand plan to go for brunch on friday ( facebook planning 3 days before ! ) , but as usual , everyone was late ( with the exception of kenny , who gets 5 brownie points ) . eventually we got to new york tomato and to our great disappointment , they stopped breakfast service at 11 am . FUCK FUCK FUCK . how can they not have an all-day breakfast ? HOW ? so anyway we decided that hungry jacks was not an option no matter how badly we wanted our eggs / pancakes / toast . their lunch menu wasn't too bad at all .
