in my head : a soho birthday - mixed by e-jin

if you took the time to talk to me the past couple of days , you'd realise that i wasn't exactly excited to be turning 21 in a foreign country with only a handful of friends . i haven't had much luck with my birthdays . let me explain , my birthday falls right smack in the middle of september . when i was in primary and secondary school , no one wanted / could celebrate because it was always during the exams . my parents forgot my 16th birthday and that kind of hurt , even for me . suffice to say , i was determined to make my 21st the biggest baddest party on the block . now we all know how much of a bitch fate can be , and i ended up in melbourne for the past year and a half .

i think this is going to be one mega hell long post but everyone mentioned today deserves this much airtime (if not more) .

DOPEZ : who got me by far the most awesom-est present EVER , his love . if you're reading this and actually believed it , FUCK YOU . first of all , i really do love him and i am deliriously happy that he's restored my faith in relationships ( and men ) and fixed me all up nice and pretty . secondly , he's a damm awesome boyfriend who flew all the way to spend a whole month with me . thirdly , he's a pretty neat guy and i think it's about bloody time i scored someone to match my awesome-ness . finally , i would never ever say anything so lame . FUCK YOU if you thought so .

SAM-THE-LAMB : who , organised the second most awesome present EVER . : ) she also organised a "sur-plise" party last night at our place , with CAKE and EVERYTHING . even though she announced to everyone waiting in the living room , that i needed to put on pants ( not just panties cause i was nekkid as a jaybird about to sleep ) . i'm glad she stopped the stoopid boys from barging in . NOW THAT , would've been like the funniest birthday memory i had .

FIZZLES , NEUB + CAMEL TOE CHEE BYE : you guys ah , made me scream like a mad woman in the post office . I LOVE THEM VERY MUCH , so much it made me cry because you guys weren't here to celebrate with me . note to sarah : EH . i tried calling you like a gazillion times . and i texted you . WHERE WERE YOU ?!?! but i didn't know you read my blog so i'm going to send out a personal hi !

ADRI : SORRY I WOKE YOU UP ! BUT I LOVE THE PRESENTS MUCHEEEROOOOOOOSSSSS . : )

JIN , JINNERS , JINNERED : OMG ! A MIXTAPE ! you are so old . . . school . : ) i am totally digging the mix . but do you realise that at first glance asohobirthday looks/sounds a lot like assholebirthday . hahahahahaha . i just thought you should know . : ) i hope you don't mind me sharing my very first mixtape with everyone on the world wide web .

LINETTE : YES DARLING . I LUBCHEWS VERY MUCH . and i really thought the going to pay rent at southbank was a ruse . hee hee .

JON + MEL-win : thanks for taking ugly ass photos of me and posting them on facebook . everyone needs friends like that . and melvin , you are one whiney ass bitch but thank you for opting to attend my birthday dinner . : )

DIONNIE + STEFFIE : you all both look so seh sitting on my couch . but i appreciate you coming to celebrate my birthday . even though i know sam probably blackmailed you into coming . hahaha .

AMANDA : i don't know if you'll read this buuuuut , thank you for coming even though you were partially drunk/high/stoned and not willing to admit it . : ) hahahaha .

CM + JOEL : you guys caaaaaaaameeeee ! to eat my cake right . don't bluff . it was good cake though . : )

REHAN : thanks dude for coming over at such a god-forsaken hour . wait , me thinks you're used to hanging out at our pad at that hour .

E'AN : you REMEMBERED !!!!! : ) i miss you loads and i had so much fun when you guys were here for my last birthday . : ( SUCKS . YOU HAVE PSEUDO FACEBOOK NOW . HAHAHAHAHAHA .

KOW : you didn't call to wish me like last year . but that's okay . i forgive you . i hope you were having sex . cause that would've made me forgive you . it better have been good . : )

LEANNE : for celebrating it with me by bringing me to the ted baker event : ) where we oogled and lusted after way to expensive things ! : )
