what's a birthday without the cake and candles ?



other than the minor hitch in the otherwise well thought out plan ( he wasn't actually at work , which was where i planned to surprise him ) , the surprise party for fizzles went awesome . he turns a ripe old twenty-two , and although everyone was busy , i figured even he needs a little magic on a special day . we're most defintely tighter than a bottega weave !

i grabbed this top two summers back from an outlet shop in melbourne . i was totally into the fringe detailing at that time ( even if it is passe already ) and although pricey ( AUD 90 ! ) , i went for it . winter came and it was impossible to wear it then ; alas it was relegated to the back of my cupboard , never to see daylight for a long long time . i've actually worn it back to front , because i can't decide what to wear beneath the top to make it decent ! if you've got ideas , please pass it on !
